........of many things!
Gorgeous, lovely pattern. I can see Hen(house) wearing that, perfect for 40's events.I'm sure you will like the bag pattern. It is adaptable too, I added a zip to inside pocket (for security) and lengthened the strap ( so I can wear it 'cross-body') on the second one. Hope you are having a lovely weekend.Carol xx
You have put so much work into the jumper Julie. I really think you undersell yourself and the mark up should be much more than the price tag you put on it. Maybe you could get one of your lovely daughter-in-laws to model for you so people can see what it looks like on! x
That's wonderful Julie, So, so pretty, much better than some of today's patterns, I bet it was a joy to make.Sadly unless its a size 22 it wouldn't fit me. lolBrionyx
Its lovely Julie. I'd keep it for myself if I were you, there was obviously a lot of work went into it!
Your vintage jumper is beautiful Julie! The ladies were so gorgeously glamorous in those old patterns too, weren't they?..It's so lovely...you have done a wonderful job!Happy Sunday,Susan xP.S Love the colour too!
that is lovely - gosh I am so in awe of your talent and skill - I wouldn't ever be able to create something so lovely. I bet it'll be very popular - they certainly knew how to do glamour in the 40s
That's such a lovely item. It reminded me of someone who has opened a shop at Cockington Court http://www.cockingtoncourt.org/craft-studios/sea-change/mads-vintage if you want to take a look. She's seriously into vintage so might be a good connection for you as an outlet for your items?
