The Amaryllis has grown again but not much happening otherwise.
Just to say my friend Ginny absolutely loved her gift

I didn't do this post yesterday because I was somewhat busy completing this sampler. My first commission of the year. It was needed by a certain date and I only started it on 6th January. I haven't done any cross-stitching for quite sometime, and quite enjoyed doing this one, but I do have to say there was a couple of occasions I did actually nearly through it across the room! I hope the person who commissioned it likes it too!
Nice stitching, you did a lovely job. Your Amaryllis is coming along well. With regards to Orchids, all I do is once the flowers have gone, place the plant on a sunny window sill, let them rest for a while, not too much water (treat them mean) and then start watering them. I find they require light more than warmth.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness - that size cross-stitch would take me months. Beautiful.

That Amaryllis is very tall! Mine has 7 leaves but no sign of a bud just yet. Your cross stitch is stitched beautifully. x
ReplyDeleteYou are such a speedy stitcher, Julie! Such a lovely neat job!
ReplyDeleteHappy week.
