Are you of that generation that when you were about eight you listened to the radio enjoying the pop songs of the day - I mean the days of 1964 to 1969 when the songs were of Manfred Mann! First there was Paul Jones, then Mike D'Abo as lead singer. Well, for the fourth time in as many years they all have appeared in our town's little theatre, the somewhat inappropriately named Regal! It has only 400 seats, so when full as it was last night, its a little cosy to say the least!

  5. I have heard of them but cannot recall the songs. I lived in France for most of my childhood and grew up with French songs! I wasn't interested in English pop much until I turned 13 then I became more interested in English pop.
I was really in to ABBA as a child.

  6. Hi Julie,
Hope all is well with you in Minehead. Thanks very much for your comments on my blog, I'm sure you have a lovely room yourself! Please don't trouble yourself with the doily pattern as I really can't see me doing anything so delicate, chunky and woolly is more my style! I'm afraid I don't know the band; I know the name and someone mentioned 5-4-3-2-1 which I do indeed know!
