I was given this panel yesterday.
(click on pictures to take a closer look)
I looks like an apron ready to embroider the cut out and stitch together, which I am sure that is what it is.
But although it gives the backing it is not a mirror image.
The back is larger than the front.
Front panel
This panel looks like part of the waistband
But then I looked again this morning and thought perhaps it is a bag........
Hmmm, it looks an apron to me.
ReplyDeleteI would suggest that it might be a peg bag.
ReplyDeleteI think it is an apron.

I guess it's a peg bag/apron. I had one once and it was so useful I wished I could find a pattern to make another but so far haven't been able to.
ReplyDeleteIt's an apron and the holes are meant to be the pockets, I had one once, can't remember where I got it, some car boot or charity shop I expect.lol

A large bag or a small apron? Question is, not what was it meant to be, but what will it become! have fun with it :D
ReplyDeleteI'd plump for an apron. Perhaps the backing bit gathers at the top before attaching it to the front.
ReplyDeleteLove from Mum

I'm not sure what it could be, how exciting xxxxx
ReplyDeleteInteresting, looking forward to seing what you do with it and how it turns out.
ReplyDeleteI think maybe it's an apron....but what you decide to use it for is the really interesting bit!
