Except I had an embarrassing moment, but I didn't realise this until I got ready for bed. I had left some of her gifts behind, there they were on the bed where I had left them staring back at me! Have you ever looked at something and you know there is something wrong but you cannot put your finger on it...........well.............so please Dee please forgive me.

ReplyDeleteJust catching up with my bloggy friends. I've read through your posts that I missed. Re condensed milk - years ago, I found a recipe for a Lemon Meringue pie using condensed milk. Never having made it before, I decided to try it before anyone came home for tea. It was soooo yummy that I ate the lot and threw away all the evidence! Maybe I wouldn't have been so sick if I'd only eaten one piece! SueXXX
ReplyDeleteWhat a great swap parcel you got Julie! How lucky to be partnered up with someone living so close to you!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your tip for my typewriter!

Hi Julie,
ReplyDeleteJust had a look at the new blog - great! I'll keep peeking.
Yes we did go into Minehead for a look around. We thought it was a lovely town and were very tempted to try out the steam train but just didn't have the time. Pity we missed you !
Cheers
