This last fortnight has been a bit hectic to say the least but I will tell more about that next week!
To relax, these last few days I have been crafting and made these pin cushions which you can find here
I often sing this rhyme to myself when I see a pin on the floor
See a pin and pick it up,
All the day you'll have good luck;
See a pin and let it lay,
Bad luck you'll have all the day.
How pretty those pincushions are. My version of the rhyme is "See a pin and let it lie, you'll want that pin before you die"!!

Ooh! What a yummy selection, I love the colours. I must remember that rhyme as my pins usually end up inside the hoover!!
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely pincushions and would brighten up any sewing box.
ReplyDeleteI love those pin cushions!
ReplyDeleteI have one just like these that I use all the time.
ReplyDeleteI think the bad luck involved refers to finding them with your feet at a later date !!
Cheers
Helen

ReplyDeleteYour visit to Bath sounds good, I was there last December with daughter Su at German markets, we also got to visit the Estee-Lauder shop and I was allowed down to the staff section with Su.
ReplyDeletePretty pincushions! I've heard a similar rhyme to that, but I thought it was for finding a penny? :) x
