Pin Cushions

This last fortnight has been a bit hectic to say the least but I will tell more about that next week!
To relax, these last few days I have been crafting and made these pin cushions which you can find here
I often sing this rhyme to myself when I see a pin on the floor
See a pin and pick it up,
All the day you'll have good luck;
See a pin and let it lay,
Bad luck you'll have all the day.

  1. How pretty those pincushions are. My version of the rhyme is "See a pin and let it lie, you'll want that pin before you die"!!

  4. I have one just like these that I use all the time.
    I think the bad luck involved refers to finding them with your feet at a later date !!

  8. Your visit to Bath sounds good, I was there last December with daughter Su at German markets, we also got to visit the Estee-Lauder shop and I was allowed down to the staff section with Su.

  9. Pretty pincushions! I've heard a similar rhyme to that, but I thought it was for finding a penny? :) x
