Good morning at the Boot Fair

Today was one of the last Boot Fairs of the season here in Minehead. Alex said to me this morning do you fancy going to the boot fair, Errr.....No.........Of course I fancy going.........so off we went. At the past few boot fairs I have been to, nothing jumped out at me and said "buy me", nothing vintage, nothing I really wanted to spend my money on! BUT today................

We bought a brand new Pedestal and Sink for the bathroom,
the sink we have does need replacing and now we can!
(£12 believe it or not!)
A few books! 50 pence

FREE!
My friend Denise was selling it - she said I could have it

50 pence

50 pence each
This little pink "Indian Elephant" Egg cup,
I thought he looked so sweet = 50 pence!

.........and because of the chip this
Carlton Ware Waterlily was also 50 pence
I liked it despite of the chip!

Tablecloths - I show more detail another day

£1
£1

£1.50

This 1930's was a lot more expensive £3
It still has its original Label
It'll be shame to remove it!

and THESE!
Alex said they are to put Speakers on............
mmmmmmm...................! (£3)

  1. Lovely tablecloths and the Carlton ware is very pretty! Really did you find the sink at the boot fairs? That's unbelievable!
Can't wait to see what you will make with the crafty books!
P.S. I had a look at your old posts, your felt creations are so gorgeus, why don't you put them on your shop?

  3. The carltonware is lovely! What a god buy, a sink for just £12. Boot fairs are great places for bargains. My favourite ones are Yeovil and Cheddar. I haven't been to the one in Bath yet which I have heard is meant to be good too.

  4. Hi Julie,

    What a haul!
The pedestal was a bargain! But I have to admit I like the patchwork books and the pretty tablecloths most of all!

    Have a great day :-)

  5. Hello, I must have missed this post earlier in the week, I try to keep up, honest! Thank you for visiting me and leaving your lovely comment. I love the book aon medieval needlework, and of course all those lovely cloths! Yes, those are speaker stands. I have some , but mine can be filled up with sand, can't tell if yours can? They do make the sound better, and I love my music. Loud! Suzie. xx
