This picture brought back some memories. I was taken to the theatre to see them - I think I must have been about 10 or 11 years old and well into collecting autographs. My mum took me back stage to get the autographs and we were both invited into the dressing room and were given cups of tea. While we were there they had an unexpected visit - their brother Jack Warner - so that was an added bonus as Dixon of Dock Green was very popular on the TV at that time.
Thank you for commenting. I enjoy the music and entertainment of the thirties and forties especially when listening on a restored radio of the period! I wasn't born till the mid-fifities so it is all new to me.
