All I want to do is my blog!

No photos again, because the camera and computer aren't speaking, because this ten year old computer is all bunged up!  We escaped last Thursday to the big town and went Christmas shopping, and came home with a new computer for us instead!  We now have a Windows-8  computer. Does anyone know anything about Windows 8? I can't get my emails to run as they have abandoned Outlook Explorer apparently. All hints and tips will be greatly received!  We have a desktop computer not a laptop.

    I hate it when they update this. We've got trouble with our big computer, working fine yesterday morning, strange and weird messages when hubby came home from work. I want to update my blog but all the pics are on it and I can't access them.....ggrrrrr.

    My friend had the same problem, she hates windows 8.
    I'm dreading my old desk top packing in, it keeps giving me messages and I'm refusing to look at them . lol
    I don't like lap tops, I like a proper keyboard.
    Hope you get things sorted soon.

    Sorry Julie! Not able to help you either! I amazed when my ancient looking computer actually works. It usually crashes everyday and if not the internet goes down. All fun and games eh? x

    Oh poor you Julie. I havent the foggiest idea what to do with computers other than type up my blog posts and leave comments. I wouldnt have the first idea what to do if it went wrong other than shout for Tony to have a look and failing all else take it off to the repair shop. Hope you get it back working properly again soon.

    What you need is a teenager, can you beg, borrow or steel one! although I understand windows 8 is awful and they have recently updated it with windows 8.1

    I have windows 8 and have gotten used to it now-some things are a little maddening but on the whole I like it. I have talktalk for my home emails and Firefox and it all works well. I found this on the help section of Microsoft

    so I think you'll have to follow the instructions-best of luck
