15th December
This week, we managed to find time to go and see James Bond - Skyfall, I had lunch with my friend Janice and cleaned my kitchen - today it is cleaning oven day - OH JOY!
I also handmade a few of presents.
I also made a few of these
EeeeerrrrrrrM!
Not sure what they look like but they tasted OK!
Best have another go during the week!!
Does anybody out there know how to make Mince Pies that are made with Puff Pastry, I would like to make them but have never succeeded and ended up buying them!
As soon as I hear this piece of classical music on the radio.........
I feel Christmas is well on its way!
I love that tune !!! I can't help you with the pastry recipe, but when I did a catering course we made an easier version which was rough puff pastry. A lot of chefs never bother making pastry and buy it ready made. Just use a good quality home made or bought mincement. I am sure they will be delicious whatever you decide. x
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet advent picture and lovely tune :) As for the mince pies I'm sure they taste wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy weekend!

Mince pies just need to taste good. I prefer shortcrust pastry so can't help with the puff variety.
ReplyDeleteGoing to listen to your music now.
