Back in January I booked tickets at our local little theatre for my husband and I to see the sixties band Manfred Mann, My husband alas couldn't get to the concert, so I asked a good friend if she would like to go with me. Janice enjoyed the concert as much as I did. It was her first time seeing them, my third. Each concert I have seen was completely different and this concert was completely different again as Mike D'abo and Mike Hugg were not on the line-up last night but nonetheless very enjoyable and in my opinion a far better concert. The keyboard player last night was Zoot Money.
Paul Jones, sang lots of Rhythm and Blues stuff as well as the Manfred songs from when he was in the group (Mike D'abo took over when he left)
Tom McGuinness when he left the group formed McGuiness Flint. Their songs Malt and Barley Blues and When I'm Dead and Gone.
Others sang songs too, and Zoot Money played the keyboard solos and well as Simon Currie playing the saxaphone
