Knitting Needles

I am very pleased that a well known charity shop (a famous chain one) took my knitting needles to sell in one of their shops without thinking I am giving them a lethal weapon yesterday.

  3. One of the ladies at my knitting group had her donation declined last week as she was sorting out her craft supplies... another charity shop along the road was very happy to take them for her. I wonder which one you had success with?

  5. I know that some of the charity shops in town keep them behind the counter, not on the shelves but i did notice last week that one of them had them in a jar by the wool. They all just seem to have made up their own rules.

  6. Hello Julie,
how funny, they will be getting a visit from health and safety! I found a book in a charity shop last week called Tales from when I was a lad (snapshots from a time that health and safety forgot) it’s amazing how any of us got beyond childhood when you see the things we got up to! Have a lovely week xx

  7. Ha! Surprised you weren't escorted out of the shop for handing over those 'dangerous' items! ;-D

I still can't believe that many charity shops keep them behind the till - its a bit H&S overkill!! xx
