Amaryllis Sunday ~ week 1

*This is also I one thousandth post!*
The thousandth post should be been on 1st January, but I was a bit busy lazy after Christmas and didn't do enough posts to make it until today!

They have changed in colour, they're greener since I took them out of their boxes.

I have two more which I retrieved from the garden.

A bit water-logged from all of the rain.  I carefully tipped the water out and now they are drying out
in the conservatory.  I will see how they go and hopefully bring them indoors too.

  1. Congratulations on your 1000th post, I think I need some spring flowers to brighten up my windowsills now I've taken down the decorations. x

  2. Congratulations! I like amaryllis, but had a friend who hated them and called them alien plants. I've got 2 bowls of hyacinths, can't wait for them to bloom, I adore them, especially the smell. Quite a way to go yet though, they're only about 1" high!

  7. Happy new year and congratulations on your 1000th post, I have a long way to go before I can say the same. I have an amaryllis in our porch that grows leaves. It's been there for years as, I'm afraid, terribly lazy when it comes to houseplants!
